- From £11.55 per hour, plus enhancements and overtime, rising to £12.12 p/h following probation, subject to holding a relevant NVQ qualification
- 37 hours per week
- Shifts on a rolling roster to include some weekends and Bank holidays
- ‘Sleep-ins’ required as per roster, usually two or three per week

About the role
Beaufort Care Group are a reputable, established company providing residential childcare and support services for looked-after children in Ringwood, Bournemouth, Poole and surrounding areas.
We are recruiting for Residential Childcare Support Workers to join our teams in the local area. We pride ourselves in giving high quality childcare to children aged 8 to16, putting the individual needs of the child at the very centre of what we do each day.
Our Residential Childcare Support Workers perform the role of ‘parent’. You will contribute to the children’s care, building trusted relationships, supporting their educational needs, planning leisure activities, and creating a structured daily home life, where children can thrive, ensuring their welfare and safety. We provide a nurturing, caring, ‘family feel’ within each home that aims to enrich young lives and encourage their development in all aspects of life.

It would be beneficial to your application to demonstrate any previous experience of working with children, mental health services, or experience in handling emotional, behavioural difficulties, abuse, or trauma.
Essential criteria
To carry out your duties, you must be able to drive and hold a valid UK driving licence. You must be within a daily commutable distance of work and be prepared to travel as part of the role on occasions.
It is a requirement that you will either hold or be willing to work towards achieving the NVQ Level 4 in Children, Young People & Families Practitioner or hold an equivalent qualification such as NVQ 3 / Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
