A Pan Dorset Protocol to Reduce Criminalisation of Children and Young People in Care
Beaufort Care Group have been working alongside colleagues in the Youth Offending Service and Local Authorities since the spring to produce the Pan Dorset Protocol to reduce criminilsation of Children and Young People.
The final version of the protocol is now ready. The aim of the new Protocol is to ensure we take a consistent approach to behavior by children in care in their home setting. We will apply some clear principles so that criminal processes are only used for the most serious or persistent behavior.
