Located in a quiet, semi-rural location, The Paddocks provides a safe, secure and welcoming home for children who are recovering from emotional trauma.
As a team, we work together to support the children in our care to build resilience, enjoy new experiences and gain essential life skills.

About the home
The Paddocks has three main bedrooms for children – with two additional rooms providing overnight accommodation for our team.
The home also has:
- a large communal lounge with a dining area
- a large kitchen-diner leading to a conservatory
- a utility room
- a downstairs bathroom with a bath and shower
- an upstairs bathroom with a bath and shower.

Megan Wilson
Registered Manager
Megan Wilson started at The Beaufort Care Group as the Registered Manager for The Paddocks on the 26th of January 2026.
The location
The Paddocks is situated in a semi-rural location close to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Ringwood (10 minutes by car). There is good access to parks, schools and colleges and local shops.
How we care
Everyone plays an active role in the house – whether that’s cooking together or growing vegetables in the garden. There is a real family feel in the house and the children and adults enjoy meals together.
Outside the house, our children take part in lots of activities, including:
- swimming
- bowling
- singing
- going on holiday
- cinema trips.
Outdoor fun
The home has a large garden and many of our children grow tomatoes, lettuce, onions, new potatoes and strawberries in the vegetable plot. In the summer, we have regular BBQs and play badminton and basketball outside.
